With a combined experience of over 50 years in the roofing and contracting industry Alpha Roofing Systems’ directors David Linnane and Paul Griffin came together in 2009 to establish one of the North West’s most highly rated industrial and commercial roofing companies.

Working alongside a team of fully qualified, highly skilled and respectful professionals we consistently provide results of the very highest standards to our varied clients throughout the North West of England, working with the utmost attention to detail in full compliance with all health & safety and building regulations. Providing a wide range of roofing and project management services to industrial, commercial, educational and local authority clients throughout the North West, we specialise in all types of roofing systems. From small repairs to large refurbishments, full replacements and brand new installations, our team of experienced roofers provide outstanding customer service with first class results.

We are approved installers for most major roofing systems and can efficiently tackle almost any roofing project you may have in mind. OUR TEAM

David Linnane

Director/Project Manager

David is one of the founder members of Alpha Roofing Systems and previously held the position of Regional Director within a large PLC. David uses his experience in the industry and his operational management background to ensure that the company’s management systems are developed to deliver a customer focused service.

Away from work, David likes to spend time travelling and supporting his daughters who both compete in national Cheer competitions.  A keen runner, David regularly competes in 10k events and follows the Leigh Centurions rugby team.

Paul Griffin

Director/Project Manager

Paul was one of the founder members of Alpha Roofing Systems and has worked in the roofing industry for nearly 30 years. Paul’s vast experience is this sector enables him to negotiate with key clients to secure projects in all aspects of this specialist field, whilst also project managing contracts in the education, utility, commercial and industrial sectors.

Paul lives at home with his partner Angie, his two children Amy & Sam and is an avid Bolton Wanderers fan. An interesting fact about Paul is that he has actually played in the Bolton Wanderers first team!

Jayson Jackson

Project Co-Ordinator

Jayson has worked for Alpha Roofing for over 6 years, and also has many years of experience from previous employment in the sector. Jayson’s duties at Alpha include contract administration and health & safety management, including site specific risk assessments and method statements, COSHH assessments, manual handling assessments, and other similar tasks. Jayson’s experience ensures projects run well and complete on time. He also plays a role in measuring and costing schemes and ensuring materials are on site when needed.

Jayson cycles to and from work twice a week, at weekends, and does the odd run. His hobbies include Kung Fu and Yoga.

Eric Longshaw

Site Co-ordinator

Eric has over 25 years experience in commercial roofing and a wealth of knowledge that has proved invaluable since he joined Alpha almost 3 years ago. As our Contract Supervisor he makes sure all our projects run smoothly and is always on hand to offer his expert advice when necessary.

Eric has many interests including modern jive dancing, learning to play the guitar and karaoke – he once sang live on Radio Manchester!  His pride and joy is a 25 year old camper van that he keeps in tip-top condition ready for weekends away with his family.

Janice Barker

Office Manager

Janice is an integral part of the Alpha Roofing administration team and is responsible for the day-to-day general administrative management, covering commercial, operational, and financial activity.

Janice has over 20 years’ experience working in the Building and Roofing Industry, Business Administration and Accounts also has experience working in both the public and private sectors.

In her spare time Janice enjoys cooking and baking and likes to spend time in the garden and keeping fit.

Chris Reilly

Contracts Manager

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the Roofing Industry, with a wide range of knowledge covering the installation of all Single Ply membranes, Cold Applied Liquid membranes, and Felt Systems.

As our contracts Manager Chris’s responsibility is to ensure all projects ren efficiently and finish on time and within budget.

In his spare time Chris enjoys the great outdoors especially the Lake District, he also enjoys dining out and has been lucky enough to have visited several Michelin Star restaurants with his partner Claire.
